BDS suspension

Anyone have experience with them? Thinking hard about their 4" system.

Ive installed a few of them. They are good lifts and they offer a life time warranty on all of the lift components i believe.

BDS makes a great lift, BDS and Zone offroad are sister companies from what i have been told, I run all Zone stuff on my truck and i love it.

Every time I have had a BDS suspension, I was NOT DISSAPOINTED. Lifetime, free replacement on all parts (to the original buyer) I tried to test their warranty, but, I wasnt ever able to break their stuff.... I broke my trucks instead.... LOL

My front end is set up with a 2.5" sky manufacturing shackle/hanger drop lift, and the 2.5" zone offroad spring pack leveling kit. The ride is like any other leaf spring truck i guess lol it is no cadillac but it doesnt ride horrible.

BDS was one of the lifts I was looking into . From what I have heard its and good all around lift. I believe there kit is front and rear springs. I was told it rides pretty good. I don't have first hand experience with this lift so it's just what I was told by and off road shop.

The ride is about the same as stock. Not a whole lot you can do to a front leaf spring truck to make it ride smooth

I think there lifts ride good up to 4in. After that like any spring its gonna ride rougher. I really need to get a set of there 4in springs for the front and do some shackles.

Just get a hanger kit..much better ride quality than ANY spring lift..we have whats needed..

Sub'd been looking at then as well!!! From what I can find they seem to be a good intermediate lift for this who don't have money for icon but don't wanna settle for a cheapo

What size tires do you want to run? I have a 3.5" hanger kit on mine with 5" blocks in the rear and I run 35s on 12"wide rims.

There are some pics in this thread, I have 16.5" wheels though but that won't matter.

FWIW, I used to have an 8" BDS lift and the hangers with 39.5" boggers. I liked the bds kit, but took it off to go back with stock springs and the 3.5" hangers. There is a pic of the truck on the bds kit further down in the thread.
