I used Blue Devil head gasket repair in a bottle to help my other problems but it plugged up my oil cooler. Wondering what the best stuff out there is that might bust up the clog in the cooler and get things circulating again? Thanks!

So far I've flushed with water a bunch and got the oil temp to come down 20° so that's a start. Anybody recommend a good flushing agent?

I use CV9 get it from ford. Put 2 quarts in with just water in the system and go drive it around for about 45 min then flush it out real good with a hose.
Thats what i do on my 6.0L's for a coolant flush atleast.

If you can't put a new one in I'd take it out and run pressurized water through the water ports. Don't know what's in that stuff to know what would dissolve it safely.

I've always had good results with Fleetguard Restore when cleaning cooling systems after a ruptured oil cooler. Not sure how it would do when trying to clear a clogged cooler but it's a good cleaning product so it may work.
