Best tuner (hardware) for SCT?

Going to be getting a tuner sometime soon. I'm pretty sure I'm going with an SCT one. Which ones are the better units? If you recommend something other than SCT, than by all means, speak your piece, nothing wrote in stone yet. LOL :shrug:

I would stick with SCT probably the new touch screen with idp tunes.

I was told the TS livewire wont work with the 6.4 at least thats what IDP has told me.

I guess I would need the "race" version if I'm going to put on a straight pipe. Does anyone run the regular ones?

Why would that be....?

Also...Livewire TS with tunes from IDP... I have owned the old bluetooth touch screen and the new one... I love this one... For one its not bluetooth so its not all laggy... Me as a 6.0 guy, i like it... It has a lot of things the last one didnt... You can store up to 10 custom tunes which is really nice if you have different tunes for everything that you do... It awesome cuz its ur gages to.

Not sure why, thats what they told me when I asked about getting one and selling my old livewire. If you look on sct site it shows up that it can be bought with the preloaded tunes but not custom. This is all I know just passing on what I was told. I would love to have one for my truck.

SCT doesn't sell custom tunes so that wouldn't be an option on their website

Well looks like I'm the proud owner of a SCT 96250R Livewire. And so it starts...
Maybe I'll start to like my 6.4 now. What should I get to go with it?

You will need an intake or your air restriction gauge will always be sucked in. Go with AFE or S&B the more sealed ones are quieter though more expensive. The more open design you hear a lot of air sucking noise and turbo wuffing. I like my 5" exhaust too.
