Ok guy I'm in the process of geting all my parts together to start a build for a 2.6 class pulling truck. And wondering what my best options would be for turbos/ turbo? The only compounds I can run is stock I'm pretty sure. And I'm going to try and get 1000 hp maybe but probly be about 900 if I'm figuring right. But is the s472 my best option as far as turbos go?

2.6" inducer. Wheel is trimmed to meet your pulling rules. Two turbine wheels available 3.0 or 3.35 (which refers to the outlet size). 3.35 harder to spool but will make more power. The truck in the video in the link has a 3.0 wheel. Ceramic Ball-bearing center cartridge.

For a 2.6 class pulling charger you need to get a custom built HX60 or a custom built S480/96 to run with the big dogs in the heart of pulling country. If you are in an area where the competition is not all that stiff and off the shelf option might be OK.

HX60s were last years king of the heap for sure. Can't go wrong with either an HX60 or an S400 based charger setup to run what you want to run - but then its a dedicated truck.

Well I'm from southeast if I want to be fairly competitive I'm going to have to go all out I no most in the 2.6 are 900-1100 around this area And I'd like to do it right and all out the first time.

LOL Look what is on the top trucks in the midwest - Hearts, Haisley, e.d and there are still some precisions being used. I'd love to see a 6.4 swinging a hx60, tuning will be your friend regardless.

Check out Hearts stuff. I talked to a guy that ran some of his 2.6 stuff on an engine dyno and was in the 1300hp range. Hearts diesel

sent from somewhere in the country

I also think Danville has some great options that may be beter suited on the 6.4, not sure how easy one of there latest chargers is to get a hold of but they would be worth talking to.

Thanks bro. I just never had any luck gettin ahold to the track. The Corsa showed I lost 100 rpm the entire pass. I just gotta get use to the new power this year and get it planted into the track. Hopefully itll show off in Indy
