Well, got my first UOA back from Blackstone. Considering their comments on viscosity and fuel, and copper... I'm definitely going to be continuing with the 5k intervals and keep a close eye on it. This was the 2nd oil change. First one was done shy of 5k, (4,700 IIRC) and the dealer put 5w/40 Full Synthetic in. This sample was the 2nd oil change at 9,950k miles, 5w/40 again. Guess time will tell, a this rate It'll probably be due in March.

Looks like you are putting some miles on. From what they bring out this is not a bad report.

Am I correct in assuming this is with Motorcraft oil?

Yes, both oil changes done at the dealership with 5w/40 Full Synthetic. They base those averages on a 7k interval.

Gotcha. Hopefully as it breaks in more there are less metal deposits and the oil lasts longer. I agree, I would keep changing it every 5k.
