Blue Smoke??

So I have had some problems with my truck that you guys have been so awesome to answer. The question I have now is this truck smokes blue when I start to get going. I have brand new injectors and a rebuilt turbo. Which would cause the blue smoke right?? I thought maybe injector orings go pinched while installing. Come to find out they were perfectly fine and I wasted money. I thought oh maybe my turbo could be bad maybe a bad oring or what not. Had a mechanic check my turbo and he said everything checked good. This is where I'm stumped. Oh and it only smokes blue when I get the truck warm. It doesn't smoke at all idling but just starting to get going and it stops when I get going faster. Super stumped. Any help will be appreciated!!

Few questions

1. Who did youget the injectors from?
2. What size injectors did you get?
3. How many miles since the install?

Reasons for questions.

1. If you got t them from somebody that justs thinks he canbuild injectors, problem solved.
2. If you bought injectors that provide more fuel than stock, your stock turbo may not be able to supply enough air right off idle to burn the fuel l supplied to you injectors.
3. On an injector swap, you are going to be putting a lot of fluids that smoke when they get hot right into the exhaust stream.

I had them rebuilt by rosewood diesel. They are 160/80's. And it's been like 300 miles since the install of them all.

Assuming that you were not seeing blue smoke before-- If an oil ring was leaking, it would leak into the fuel rail and I doubt you'd see an excess oil burning this early from injectors. Verify that the fuel filter is not turning black due to filtering oil soot.

I'd still lean to the turbo but you may need to keep an eye on the downpipe for better evidence.

I have checked the fuel filters and they aren't dark at all. I have checked the down pipe but I will do it again just too make sure!! Is there any possible way this could be like timing or what not??

Also I have been trying to chase a weird idle when at normal operating temp. The idle will be smooth and then it is choppy then it goes smooth and then choppy. It's more choppy then smooth though. It's kind of weird.

Uvch's. all inj's ohm'd good at 3.2-3.3, so I thought.
Mine did the same thing. It would run smooth cold but get a intermittent miss. Could hear it and see it slightly on the tach while holding steady about 1800 rpm.
I shut it down and caught the right bank reading 6.5 but after only aminute, two tops it returned to normal.
I could not duplicate it.
I went thru everything using several different meters(Fluke, Fieldpiece, Goodman Ind, GB), testing every sensor and comparing resistances to temp charts.
Finally had my son pick up both the gaskets and the uvch's and we tore it down.

Messing with the old uvch's/gaskets we could get erroneous readings.

Anyway, if i didn't see it for myself I would have said the "tester" was full of it.

Oh gotcha!! Ya it definitely sounds like an electrical problem to me. So I tested the 42 pin connector and they all ohmed out fine. Is there another test I can do to specifically find the problem??

The way I found mine was when it started missing I'd shut it down and quickly disconnect the 42pin.
I knew it had to be the wiring to the injectors
Anyway it took 4 or 5 times and I caught it. What a pita.
Had a 1/4" ratchet with the 10mm within arms reach along with my Goodman meter which has a very sensitive 200ohm scale. Two of my meters(one of the Flukes and a Fieldpiece) only have the 2k scale and I couldn't catch it.(Ive got 6 or 7 meters as Ive specialized in controls and electrical diagnostics going on 25yrs)
Do you have a good meter with a 200 scale?

Ok ya I will check that. And no I don't have one of those. I just have a meter that measures ohms and what not. Not specific though.
