Man I'm sorry Ryan. I absolutly hate that feeling of my trucks messed up and I don't know what it is. I hope its something cheap and easy to fix, but I really don't think it is. Was it shaking like an imbalance or more like a miss?

Ryan, sorry to hear about your motor. On the brighter side it looks like some forced upgrades :evil

I "was" confident I had addressed that in the beginning with upgraded pistons.

I also may be a possibility that one of my batmo's let go. Won't really have a clue until it gets torn down.

At this point that's the way in leaning. Just pull intakes off and look.

So I was on a nice little run... About half throttle, 50 or so psi. Get into top gear then it started to shake and dump white smoke. It smelt more like oil then fuel. Anyway it now is leaking oil, can't really see where tho. Sounds like trash. I won't even try to turn it over, it is not good!

I was running the HD300 tune and have been having good luck with it... Until now. I'm not saying it was the tune at all. Just some insight. It was running so strong with this tune.

Kinda sucks lol.

Same thing Corbin's batmo equipped 6.4 acted trying to run up on my 6.0 on an access road.

Dumped a ton of oil out the exhaust. His motor is fine..turbos, IC etc...not so much. Batmos let go.

Hate to hear that buddy. Best of luck with whatever it is that reeked havoc. Batmo failure might be the cheapest thing that could let go. But running trips, that could possibly get really expensive also. I really hate to hear this. This has been a lengthy build, and I know you have been stoked waiting to see what the results of all the hard work and $$ spent was going to be. I know sooner or later, they all let go. But sure would have been nice if you could have gotten some time on the track with her before this carnage. Good luck on the repairs

I'm hoping it was just a batmo for you. S300's are relatively cheap compared to another motor build.

I pulled my intakes off as well as my crossover pipe... All three comp wheels are in good shape. Tho there does seem to be some movement in the shafts of all three as well. very very minimal, but it's there. I'm unsure if that's the way they were. I wouldn't think so given how fast they spin. There is an excess of oil around the comp covers too.

Turbos are probably fine. A little shaft play is normal. If the wheel is almost touching the comp housing...then they need rebuilds. Check in and out play as well as side to side play.

Possible that it could be a valve too.

It's fun playing the guessing game lol. I'm unsure when it's gonna get looked at... The two shops I go to are pretty busy.
