Ok guys. Bout to put the truck back together with the 71mm, NL stuff and mvr wg. Heres a background of the truck. Ran great for a while but eventually started noticing low boost at WOT. About 30 lbs. Boost would fly up to it and just hold. Rail pressure great, tc slip great, vgt was i think at 7 wot. I figured i had a bad wg. I pulled it apart last night and didnt notice anything obvious other than the gate was black before and has sinced turned copper. There were 3 springs in it when i pulled the cap off. The diaphragm inside looked to be ok. Wg plumbed with full boost to side port and regulated to the top port.
Where else could i lose boost and 25 pounds of it? There were no exhaust leaks noticeable and boost leaks i feel i would have heard. How often can the wg manual controllers fail? I tried all positions on it and it never seemed to help. Thanks for any help.
