So my truck has will only build up to 15lbs of boost and tends to bounce from 15 to 10 once it gets to 15. I had this problem last week so I resealed my plenums with ford grey sealant, replaced the boots on the spider, resealed everthing on the spider and I replaced my uppipes with bellowed one and new gaskets. I drove it once it was all put back together and didn't see any signs of the uppipes leaking. I also took both ends of where my boost gauge hooks up and resealed the ends. Any ideas of what I could try next?

I would have thought that it would have shown signs of it being out. The shaft play seemed normal when I had it out

Well, I'd start with checking the wheels for damage, as well as checking for shaft play. If all checks out there, I would pressure check the charge air system with regulated shop air. If it too checks out, I would be certain that you have an exhaust leak somewhere you aren't seeing. Of course this all goes under the assumption that the injection side of things isn't seeing any issues like fuel pressure, etc,.

My wastegate is pretty tight, I deleted all me epbv stuff when I put the 38r in. How would my injection be causing me to hit 15 but no more and an occasional it will hit 15 and slam down to 5?

I had it pushed onto one of my clamps for my intercooler. I also tried putting it back on the waste gatetoday and still no change

Almost sounds like the wastegate is fluttering or something... I would make a fitting to pressure test the intake side through the turbo. Try that first. What does the exhaust look like? Smoke normal? Does it change?

No/low fuel pressure can do some funky things to these trucks. But I'm not saying that is the direct cause, just throwing out scenarios I've been in when my FASS pumps would go out. Idled fine, ran fine but built next to no boost and was sluggish
(obviously lol)

so you did a boost leak test by now? if that passes with a ton of soapy water on the entire charge system? then start looking at electrical connections.... how are the battery's/alternator?

I did a soap test before I took it all apart and found the first problems. I had to pull a buddys motor today and didn't have some one I trust to help me do a soap test again. I will be doing it again tommorow. I use a product I used to use for testing gas lines. It bubbles about 10 times more the soap in a bottle.
