Brake Caliper Troubles

Replaced the front drivers side twice, and the front passenger side once. The drivers side continues to seize up whenever I tow my boat. Is there a better caliper other than the OEM motorcraft that I have been using or something I can do to keep the caliper from locking up while driving.

I had a left rear seize on me at 60k two years ago. The composite pistons just crumbled. At 71k now with a Motorcraft replacement still working, and 8mm of pads on the other three corners.

Did you do a complete flush of the system ? Old fluid may be to blame not taking the heat .

I did not flush the system. Do I need to replace the calipers again or just flush and drain and re-fill now ?

Just flush . It made a world of difference in mine .

Ya flushing works good. I also noticed that the pads are too tight know the caliper. I grind the caliper so that the pads fit looser.
