Well I was almost ready to lift the cab but I ran into a problem. The nuts on the two front bolts spun. What's the easiest way get them off?
Thanks

I thought about that but it would be pretty hard to put a rod in that tight space. I just wanted to see what everyone did first before I go in tearing **** up. I'm sure someone has a little trick to this.
Thanks

Easiest way is to just tack it in there with a mig welder both of mine are tacked fastest and easiest way its a real pain to even try and get a wrench inside there but just make sure u spray a little spray paint in there when you get done so that it doesnt rust

Ok thanks. All I have is a stick welder
Did you have to take apart the front end to gain access to it?

Remove the head lights.. Get a 7/8 wrench(might have to bend the wrench a little) and hold the nut while you remove the cab bolt. But if you can weld it.. It makes it easier for the future.

If you will lift up on the cab enough to decompress the suspension some before you start to take the bolts loose it will help keep the nuts from spinning. As you loosen the bolts the weight will ease back onto the suspension so use some common sense as to how far you pick the cab up.

X2 on not using impact. I break the bolts loose with a ratchet and can normally turn them the rest of the way out with a 18V drill.
