cargo/dome light issues

Ok so my 2000 250 7.3 4x4 4door cargo light is stuck on, i turned of the switch checked all the doors nuthing. Heres the really weird part, i cant find any door sensors anywhere and the dome lights dint turn on when the doors open or with the dash switch. Any one have similiar issues?

the door switches are in the latch.. this is a common issue on these trucks..
sometimes, a good hosing of WD40 and a few cycles of the latch get it un-stuck

if it does have a failed switch, I'd start with the left front door.. it's the one you use the most, right?

my 2000 did it often I drive on dirt roads a lot. I did what he said spray them with wd40 and blow the latch out with shop air.

just did this on company crew cab today. just jam the lactches on all 4 doors full of wd40 and shut and open it a couple times and spray it one moretime for good measure andit should take care of it
