Want to see if anyone out there is running this setup tuned and deleted what your mileage numbers are. Thinking of swapping out my 4.30s and want to see if it is worth it.

I have a CCLB SRW with spartan tunes I was getting 12 to 13 every day mixed and 16 on the road
Just picked up a SCT and gearhead tunes and am getting 14+ on everyday mixed havent made any trips lately couple of short highway runs have shown 18ish hand calculated.
Truck weighs 9800lbs and is on 295/70-18's all terrains.
I think for me and the towing I do 4:11's would be perfect.

Man I wish...mine is my DD and tows occasionally...rethinking that lol...between fuel, insurance and truck payment it is becoming too much...would like to try 3.73s before just selling it

To bad axles are different between a 2000 F350 and a 2008 cause I have a buddy here in 29 with a 2000 F350 DRW 3:73 that would love to have 4:30s.

If your changing gears to justify being able to afford the truck you might just want to sell it. Changing gears is going to cost you a 1k. Let's say you get 2mpg better and you drive 15,000 miles a yr you will save roughly 800 dollars a yr at 4 dollar a gallon diesel.

Hardly worth it. Now if you wanted to do it because you plan on keeping the truck for 5yrs and you don't want the motor spinning 2500rpm going down the interstate I could see that.

Just my 2 cents
