Got a chip I need to burn and every time i try it says error not a multi position module when it is a 6 pos. I have burned this chip before on xp. Can anyone help?

Did you make sure the chip is in Position 1 before you started. Make sure you are in Position one and try it again. i have had the same issues in the past.

Hmm, yea i have had the issue with some chips where it did the same thing. and some chips i could burn with Windows 7. Try and get a hold of Cale and see if he can reformat the chip, may be all it needs. Thats what we had to do with a couple other chips

Yea i think there is a glitch in Windows 7 that causes some of these "errors". sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt and give you that message.
