What your going to want to do is go under the dash and find the pigtail that goes to the clutch master cylinder. Unhook it and jump the wires with any type of wire. In my truck the switch went bad so I used some house wire and jumped both of them. One is for cruise shut off and the other is the start switch. Btw don't let a woman jump in there if its in gear cause it will start moving lol.

Sometimes I wonder how we ever survived back when there was no such thing as a safety switch on the clutch. There were a lot of times back then when we had a bad starter that we would just put the trans into third gear and hit the starter. A few lurches down the road and the truck was up and going. You just can't do that anymore since it is too dangerous.
