I just got my aeroforce scan gauge put on my truck. (way awesome product! if you don't have one, GET ONE!)

buzz test gave me p1298
cyl contribution test gave me p0269

and I also had p1249 and p1140



can anyone of the great minds on here translate these for me?
or is there some where I can find a code list other than just google?

ok excuse me for being an idiot I found what I was looking for.


P0269 Cylinder 3 contribution/balance fault
P1140 Water in fuel condition
P1249 Waste gate steady state failure
P1298 IDM failure



what should my next step be? I already took care of the water in the fuel so im sure that code will stay cleared.

new injectors and new idm?

You should clear your codes and retest. See what the first code is and see if you can diagnose/repair it. Clear and do it again until no codes are present or you have a definate resolution.
Always repair first code issue then start again.
