Cold Air Intake Problems??

Friend of mine has a 09 6.4 and was in the process of putting a intake on it. He said the instructions say to "remove the negatives off the battery terminals" so he did that. Put the intake together and on the truck and goes back to put the negatives back onto the battery and his horn wont stop honking and the truck wont start. He took the negatives back off and is just waiting for some help..

Sounds like it's in security mode, there is a procedure with jumping wires, but I can remember it right now. Hopefully someone comes along that can help.
