What setups are guys with Tow Powers running successfully? I know myself and another have the AFE stage II with PG-7 filter and we both have issues now that we have the Elite 71mm atmosphere upgrade. My filter minder is pulled in and it won't reset, so I'm in pretty bad need of a better flowing CAI. Thanks in advance!

I'm willing to do whatever it takes. I just don't want to spend money on a setup and it not work. I thought some guys were running the newer AFE Si setup with the scoop and big box around it, but I haven't really heard if it works or not. That's a lot of money to spend and it not work.

Maybe Erik will chime in on his setup.

The best bet is to just get a big filter on the end of a pipe like eriks truck that way there is the most possible air and air filter there. Sucking the filter minder in is no bueno

I am going to try one more thing and see. I already have the AFE setup where it can pull the most air possible. I need to get a new filter minder first though. I'm running the 210 tune for now. :doh:

The only thing you can do is go custom, until I finish building mine I just pulled the box off my S&B and put a 12" filter on it. Hasn't sucked the filter minder in yet but it looks like boo boo.

That's what I have done. Took the box off of my AFE. I am going to change the "torque tube" to a better flowing one and get a bigger filter for it.

Def. a bigger filter, seems to be most of the problem is there isnt enough surface area for to suck the required amount of air in. Buy a couple universal silicone boots, some piping and put a sick custom one on ;-)

You could call MPD and ask......they have a 5.5" intake tube on thier big 475single kits. At least that way you would have a starting point making something custom. Comes with a pretty big filter too. Maybe they can help you out......NOT SURE IT WILL FIT STOCK BUT JUST AN IDEA!!!

I have some left over 5" exhaust piping that I'm using to build one and a dodge filter from a afe mega cannon intake ( 7" opening ) and I think that will do the trick.

I used 4" aluminum polished elbow... I can get you part number if you want, it solved my filter issues with my single.. and I think it looks great...
Seabee I was gonna use exhaust pipe but was scared of **** coming loose from the alunminized coating and ss was spendy lol
