COnversion question

Does anyone know if a 6v53ta detroit diesel will fit under the hood of a 08-10 superduty? I havnt got to far into my search yet, just wanting to get some input first on weather it will work.

Hope it's just for a toy, that is a 5.2L two stroke 318ci engine. Here is a guy that replaced his 6.0L for one.

yes I would have to agree because his is just with the blower no turbo I will figure the turbo part out after I see what I have to work with thanks for the input helps me out alot

318 is a good engine just like all detroits the rev hi hard and leak lots of oil, but cant beat a old 2 stroke they run forever. I have been thinking hard about it and I think a 6v92TA will fit just right over a 6v53 and have more power as well.
