What do you guys pay for an alignment? I took mine to be aligned today and they put it on the rack and checked everything and came back to me and told me my caster/camber was off. So it would need the kit to adjust this and it was $67 a side for the kit, 1 hr labor per side ($90/hr), and then $74.99 for the alignment cost then tax and shop supplies on top of that. So ~$450.00 is what they wanted to charge to align my 2010 F250 (60k mile)

I didn't pay that for it, they didn't touch it and I came back to the house. Just wondering what you guys thought.

59.95.... adjustment sleeves are 20 bucks each (labor is included in the alignment)

But superduties should pretty much be toe and go...

That sounds about right, caster and camber sleeve alignments are probably the most hated ones that come through our shop and they can take half a day easy if the sleeves are rusted in , 1 hr per side is definitely fair.

The dealer I normally deal with subs it out they said I would probably have to buy that kit plus around $80 bucks for the alignment. Called a dealer 15 min. Down the road and got it done for $45

All you got done for $45 was set the toe unless thier labour rate is $10 a hour.

Did they tell you the caster and camber numbers?

Most of the time the straight axle trucks are fine and just toe needs attention.

Where did you go?

Lynch Chevrolet.. Had about the best reviews around here. I had my tires road forced balanced there and also had a tire fixed there and they have always been great to deal with. Know somewhere else I should check?
