1. I just bought a 2023 F-250 with the 6.7 ltr. I hear about the "glitter bomb" CP4 fuel pump. How much should I worry about it? Should I purchase a disaster kit? Just a little nervous about the pump because of the resulting damage and cost. Or is there too much hype?
2. I have no idea how big my fuel tank is and the POS manual requires me to measure the wheel base. The tank appears to go from a little under the bed to the driver seat. Any guesses on gallons?
3. I want to sell my F-350 Dually please see the other post.

The fuel pumps fail for a few different reasons. If you are changing your fuel filters, properly priming the fuel system after then they are pretty reliable to a certain age.

That is just from what I have seen and read.

Running low fuel pressure is the start of the death of the CP4.

In my case I had an inlet suction valve fail, no glitter bomb so disaster kit would not have helped me. that was at around 180k miles, but also on an older 2014

What configuration is your truck? Google says short beds have 34 gallon tanks and long beds have 48 gallon.
