My 2010 6.4 is showing cylinder 3 misfire, it will be idling smooth and all at once start missing.... Shut it off and restart and it runs smooth. Is that a bad injector or something else goin on?

does it go rough when the AC compressor kicks on?
do you have access to an IDS to watch the power balance? I had one dropping #5. Never got a misfire code oddly enough LOL

What its probably doing PRIOR to the miss fire is adding and pulling fuel trying to get the cylinder balance up, you cant see or hear it, finally the ecm will just drop the cylinder out in order to save the engine
