Hey guys, just picked up a DD and I'm having a problem setting up one of the calculators.

I should start off by asking if what I'm trying to accomplish is possible. Trying to take EP (Exhaust Back Pressure- Absolute) and turn it into the "actual" number it is. Basically dont want to have to look at the EP number and subtract 14.7 to get the actual number.

So I downloaded the signal multiplier, and after inputting all the info I cant get my "actual" back pressure number to be correct, or even in the ball park of what it should be? Anyone have any ideas of what I'm doing wrong or things I can check? Thanks in advance

Input Signal: EP (Ford Specific)
Multiplier Signal: "Constant Multiplier" from the Signal Calculator column
Multiplier Sign: 1
Constant Multiplier: 1
Offset Signal: Baro (Ford Specific)
Offset Sign: -1
Constant Offset: 14.7

Barometric won't be 14.7 unless you're at sea level. Maybe that's the issue? I've never tried this, so I'm not sure. Definitely interested in the outcome though.

I'm only at 528' above sea level, so using 14.7 should get me close if that was the issue. I'm going to have to keep messing with it,it's probably something stupid. The way DrewTech makes it sound on their website that you can basically modify any signal anyway you want... so this should work?

I'm running a DD xl2 loaded with Spartan.
Mine can be set to read EP absolute or just EP.
Wonder why they're different

It's EP absolute and desired. Desired is without barometric pressure added, but it's not what it's actually seeing. It's what it wants to see.

Yep. I know the tuning doesn't make a difference because the DashDaq is a DashDaq no matter what it's reading out of the OBD2 port. I need to double check and make sure the Baro reading is actually the real reading and not scaled differently and would be causing my calculations to be off and I'm completely over look it. We will see.
