So this morning took a long time for my truck to start, and every so often it does this but today was the worse. Tested the FICM today 48.4 volts with key on, 48.5 when cranked and idle. What else could it be? I have no codes as of now.

Dummy plugs? Mine had a long cold crank and it was a leaky dummy plug.

How old are your batteries? I've seen them seem to crank ok, but will just be a little too slow to build good heat for starting.

Do you have the updated stc fitting? I've seen it where those will rotate and cause intermittent issues like this.

I'm not sure if it has been done. I'm assuming no since it was not on the list the guy I bought the truck from, and not on any of the receipts that he gave me. this could cause a hard start? I'll look into it thanks.
