Diagnostics scanner any suggestions?

I use a Snap-on Verdict, myself.
Once you go bluetooth, you'll never go back.

NAPA offers a bluetooth adapter and a software package (with or without tablet) under the name TECHPro. it's made by Mahle.

AE seems to be the package of choice, but I've never seen it in action. Couldn't tell you about bi-directional controls, CAN network, etc..

I talked to my NAPA rep this morning.. he said $1550. for the software bundle & adapter, then like $1800-$1900 for bundle & tablet (depending on which tablet)
