difference in E99 and late 99 (up pipes)

what is the difference in the e99 7.3 that these up pipes wont work on pre 12/6/98?

OBS and SD manifolds are different. Drivers side anyway.

Thought the exhaust manifolds are different from 96 and earlier.

That seems to be around the range. We put SD dorman bellows and installed an older precision turbo for a SD on my 97 last weekend. Didn't change the manifolds.

I can't say that it will be like this for all of them. And everything on the motor is original 97 parts.
