do i need to flush coolent with water pump replacement

got a 2009 6.4 waterpump went have no garage just got 2 plus feet of snow so i will be working outside my house in a cleared area question is can i just drain coolent and replace water pump and refill or do i need to flush out the whole system

I flush shouldn't be necessary unless it's full of junk. I would recommend installing a coolant filter while its apart.
