I have an 08 f350 SRW that I am converting to a DRW. I wanted to run some 22.5's on the truck and came across a great deal on the adapters (less than half the price of new ones) but they are off an 00 so the lug pattern is 8x170 not 8x200. Is it possible to use the 99-04 spacers for the front and 99-04 dually axle or is there some sort of dramatic difference that this couldn't be accomplished? I already have to buy the spacers and axle regardless so. Any help would be appreciated.

If the adapters will change the stud pattern from 8 on 170 to 8 on 200 for the front then yes, then get the older rear diff.

I'll tell you not to, but it's your choice.

Front 8x170 dually adapters will be wider than 8x200 adapters due to axle width differences. Just FYI. I think it's 1.5" per side?
