Depending on the situation we got a day rate + fuel alot of times.

IMO $24/hr is not worth abusing my truck. If they Do reimburse for fuel and give you some sort of other payment for ware/tear like milage pay also I would consider it depending on the situation. If its just straight up your hourly wage I would tell them to get bent or pay you $40/hr+.

I'd take 24/hr for a truck all day long.. Not sure if that includes fuel or not but it's headed the right direction.

I get $1.50km, fuel paid for and so far maintenance. Only had oil changes and fuel filters but I get reimbursed for them. Welder has a flat rate of $150 a day, weather its used to tack 2 pieces or welded with for 10hrs.

My diving is 95% on street until I get to the job sight then its pretty well just gravel/ rough roads.
