Use 10/12 from battery and fuse to relay contacts to pump. 16/18 from key on power to relay coil to oil pressure switch. According to tests, wire sizing for the fuel pump side makes a difference in output. There's not much difference in price between 12 and 10, so don't cheap out like the factory does using 14 or less. The control wiring doesn't carry much current so using 16/18 is mainly to be more durable than anything smaller.
