Has anyone had their EBP sensor tube freeze up with I've after doing an EGR delete? Is there a fix to this? I live in Alaska and it's been 10 below for the last couple weeks.
It's the tube that goes down to the egr piping the sensor is located right next to the turbos on the driver side. I have an erg delete so there is no gasses going through that pipe to keep it thawed.
They're pretty easy to get to. I had to change my sensor since it went bad. Bought the tube and sensor from sunrise for less then $70.
Takes about 10 min to do the tube and sensor.
I would think the other way of not having that problem with the tube when doing the EGR delete, is to remove the EGR catalyst, tap the block off plate and put it in that location.
