EBPV exhaust brake switch?

They tell the ebpv to close when its in that postition. I've had dynoproven put it on 20+ SD trucks for me. Works very well.

I thought you could do that, but then doesn't the 6-pos switch have to be moved every time you would want the valve shut?

Yes. For our Decel tune anyway. You can't integrate a Decel function into a power tune without risking damage to the transmission. With a built trans it can be done, but I would still recommend to have it be a separate tune.

My truck is a manual. I'm looking for an on/off setup. I put a pacbrake on my 12 valve and setup a 2 speed axle push/pull switch to work the brake. I'm looking to set up a 2 position switch working off the swamps write up to select on all the time or on with the foot brake, and using a gearshift mounted push/pull switch to work the on/off function.

Necessary? No. Do I like doing this sort of thing? Yes.
