Good question. It looked to be the same as the cold side on our trucks. The one I used has the metal rings on it. If it blows it has to blow the sides out. I doubt the pipe will blow off.

Seemed to be fine. 42# of boost and the boot didnt move. Truck ran great.
Both temps stayed within about 12 the whole trip. The 12 was going over the grapevine on I5 which is a PIA (Most of the time it was 8 or down). Tranny actually got the hottest it ever has 220. I remember why I dont go south very often, the damn truckers think they own the road and like to turtle race. Going over the hill at 55 in the 2nd lane and they pop right out in front of you doing 30-35 and I loose all my speed. That is when the truck started to heat up. Bastards learn to judge speed fu(K sticks!!! I was loaded though for dry camping and the bike in the back for the weekend.
