Guys I just put a SCT Livewire and exhaust on my 08 6.4L. When removing the EGT probe behind the DPF the nut broke and I can't remove it. Will it hurt to run the truck without that probe install until tomorrow? Thanks Brad.

With that sensor unplugged the truck will fire up one time and run normal. then when you **** it off and try to fire it back up the next time it won't even crank , ECM will lock you out. I know from experience .

Your truck will start and run fine all it will do is idle high ~900rpms until you replace that sensor. You can unplug all of them if you want and it will still just idle at 900rpm

normally speaking, you will have a high idle only. it wont do anything any harm.

form the dealer they only cost about 45.00.

glad it made the trip south ok LOL
