Egt probe

Question- switching out the factory egt probe that goes into the block off plate- from what I have read you need to change this probe with a probe in the *** piping. Which probe do you replace it with? I took the first probe(closest to the dp) but the probe sensor is twice as long as the stock probe that I took off the block off plate. IS this the correct probe to replace it with? Thanks

Any of them fro the exhaust will work correctly. The one from the factory E G R will not read correctly

well that was a waste of time- i guess the sct x4 can't read egts? the parameter does not show up for it on the tuner. Do i have to purchase the edge cts monitor to read the important parameters?

Yes. The X4 is just a tuner not a monitor

bummer- its says gauges and data logging. only thing you an log is battery voltage and a couple other unimportant pids

OP - contact mike (bigrpowr) and he can't get you the PIP egt sensor that will work with the x4
