Egt question

I installed the sinister diesel egr delete kit. None of the factory sensors will fit in the pre drilled holes. What sensor am I suppose to use to monitor with?

I believe sinister makes their kit 1/8"npt, which is the standard thread size for most aftermarket pyrometer probes. Ford factory sensors are all 1/4"npt if I remember correctly. If you want to retain the pyro plate you have, I would make a quick trip to the hardware store and grab a drill bit and tap, fix it yourself. That will be the cheapest route. If not, I have 1/4"npt probe kits here. Id be glad to set you up with one. Whatever works for you

What are the cost of the aftermarket ones.

Had the same problem. Sinister's new kits have the OEM bung size. Give sinister a call they will take care of you customer service is top notch.

I purchased the sinister kit a while back and didnt know they would send you a new piece, but just to put it out there i purchased that delete piece with the correct 1/4" egt probe predrilled whole from Maryland Performance Diesel for just $65.
