I noticed it the other night when I was at the strip that I was still hitting 1700°. I was fairly warm that night so I just blew it off. Last night I was out messing around and I was able to hit 1700° again, but it was only 60° out yesterday. I didn't think with my mods that I would see 1600°, so do I have an issue some where? I do know I have an earlier set of TPs that have the 7 blade atmosphere wheel (k31 I believe), but I wouldn't think that would make a whole lot of difference. I do notice that when I'm running the 300 tune with LBF at 5 it won't hardly clean up the smoke. Could I possibly have a VGT problem? What do you guys think? PS mod are in my sig.

Holding WOT from 30-40 last night. The other time was at the drag strip. I'm not sure how long it was staying there, that's just what the max was showing on my BM, but I did see it hanging mid 16 last night.

I know that my h&s ran a lot hotter than my innovative tunes even just cruising around town. Im not sure if it's the way h&s monitors it or of its the tune itself.

That's what my first thoughts were, because I know they used to read 100-150 high before they reworked it. The biggest reason I think something could be wrong is because of the smoke. I thought TPs would clean up factory fuel no problem.

I dont see it in your sig but just making sure...you don't have a wastegate do you?
I assume you've checked all your boots?
Maybe try to lower the low boost fueling on the tunes and see if it changes anything? Worth a shot before you dig real deep I think.

I had the Tow Power Xs, stock fuel and the Mini Maxx....

hot sumbitch, and smoky as hell..... My Tow Xs never cleaned up the smoke, and it saw 1600 or more, quite often, even when I wasnot all the way in it, or on WILD instead of HOT DAMN. I switched to the SCT and could not be happier.

I run the Mini Maxx in my 450 now, with LBF set on 3. That is my DD, and Tow setup now. I am switching to the spartan this week, as she still sees pretty high (1550-1600) when I am getting on it.

The only thing that I will miss is the ability to switch on the fly... When I was goofing off, and would see Johnny Law, I could switch to stock settings real quick, so as to not alert him that some parts of my exhaust had, um, fallen off? LOL

No wastegate Shone. That makes me feel better Chris. I usually run LBF at 0 on the 250 tune for economy reasons. I only turned it up for racing any way. I guess I'm not going to worry about it it just seemed a little high.

Running LBF on 0 is pretty clean, but it ran like crap. Not enough fuel to spool, downshifts alot, etc. I ran on 2 for a while, then cranked it up to 3 after towing my 5th wheel. It is gonna stay there now. And if I am playing around on the way home, etc, it still gets real hot, once I am up in boost. On either the WILD or HOT DAMN... and no matter what LBF it is on, when you go WOT, it still smokes like a forest fire, and heats up quick...

I will have the spartan rigged in a few days, and prob DD the 275, and tow with the 210. It does suck not having the quick adjustability, but I am wanting to try different setups and see what works best for me.

That being said, I am going to have

What kinda boost numbers? The only extra thing I have is the Spearco and I just touch 1400 0-100mph on tthe Spartan 310. Is your torque convertor locking?

Just be careful with the 275. It can be a gasket eater.

Yeah but I am pretty gentle with it on take offs. I like to roll on from 50 or so every now and again, but I am pretty easy off the line. Plus I dont wanna roll smoke at every light in my little town... The cops are cool with me, with the whole K9 Cross Training thing, but, I dont wanna see just how cool they are willing to be.... LOL

I was pulling 47-48 at the track, but Ive seen 51-52 on the street. The TC seems to be working alright, but can't watch the slip on a BM.
