Redoing the brakes on my 96 f250 and in the spring pack it came with two metal c clips but have no clue where they are supposed to go. Read that it was a emergency brake lever pin retainer. Anyone have a pic of how/where they are supposes to go?
For some reason can't get picture to show in post. Its just a small u/c clip some said it was a retaining clio for emergency brake lever that should hook to the shoe. I have seen it on f150 but not a 250/350.
Is it used on all of 250/350 trucks? I am swapping axles and didn't find these in either of them. I see it called out in this diagram but doesnt appear to be used on self-adjusting brakes or I'm just not seeing it. http://www.diesel-dave.com/vehic/manual/stj/stj62009.htm
