Engine coolant

I'm due for a coolant change in my 2011 F250 and I'm looking at amsoil low toxicity antifreeze. Has anyone ran this? The spec code is saying that it is the same as motorcraft gold. But the manual is wanting orange. Any insight is appreciated.

If you still have an e g r run orange, if it happened to fall off run whatever you want just make sure you flush really well.

Well I have it, but it's turned off and not doing a thing. Does that make the difference?
