Engine harness wite size

Can anyone tell me the different wire gauges in the engine harness

Im going to wire tuck my truck and ill be using a cannon plug in the firewall so ill need to extend the wires.

I need to order the appropriate size cannon plug so if anyone has this info it would be greatly appreciated.

Not being a smart a$$ or anything; but if you can't look at the wire and tell the size, do you really need to tackle this job?

Go get another engine harness from a junkyard so the wiring is the same gauge and colors. That's how I would do it.

Rat- I've seen your build thread and it's obvious you have some fab skills but as Arisley said, if you can't determine the size of wire by looking at it, then you really don't need to be wiring up your truck..

The matter of the issue is that the harness has diffrent sizes in it.

Everyone has strong points and weaker points. Electrical is one of my weaker but its not over my head. I know looking at it would give me a basic idea but when it comes to ordering the caliber of parts im about to order ...close isnt good enough.
