Just bought a 40' toy hauler and I'm considering some goodies to keep all my temps down while towing in the Texas heat. Deltas run 6-8* unloaded and 8-10* towing my boat which is roughly 4500 lbs. New thermostats and radiator aprox. 8,000 miles ago. Considering an intercooler, pipes, bullet proof oil cooler, and a coolant filter kit. Toy hauler is about 15k loaded so I'm just trying to prevent any problems. Temps already cost me 1 motor!

The lift rims and tires are killing you. Should regear. I had no issues with min stock with 4" down pipe and 5" exhaust. Barely ever cracked 1k degrees and EOT were fine and same with coolant temps. Going up long grades I would drop to 4th and hold 65. But I had 4.10 gears which made it so much better. My 5th wheel is 17k and 38ft.
