F250 work vs F250 regular

Does anyone know what the differences are between the regular f250 and the work f250? Only things that I can tell is they have different head lights, and they lack some of the options like power Windows, carpet, cd player, etc. Are they built any tougher or have any upgraded parts for work? Any links to side by side comparison? Just curious because I'm going to be getting a 2008 f250 6.4 powerstroke 4x4 next year.

My 08 F250 work has rubber floors, CD/mp3, power windows and it weighs exactly 7600 lbs with me in it and a topped off tank of diesel.

When I bought my black truck last year it was the quirkiest optioned truck I have ever seen. 2wd, 5.4 v8, zf6, eclb, from the factory the only option this truck had was air conditioning, didn't even have a radio, I bought it from the original.owner and he put in a very nice stereo system, and one of those trays above the windsheild, which I LOVE btw, truck also didn't have a back seat in it from the factory but I located a nice set of captains chairs and back seat out of a 04, and was able to sell the vinyl bench for almost what I gave fo my new set. The quirkiest thing is that is has a alarm with remote entry but no power locks or windows, aftermarket alarm, the only other thing I have ever noticed about xl package trucks is the sound deadening doesn't seem as good.

Exactly, the only thing XL about mine is the vinyl seats, rubber floors, and radio. It has the nice headlights and power locks/windows. Whoever bought it probably paid the same as if they would have just bought an XLT, lol. They paid 4-500 bucks extra to get a 40/20/40 vinyl seat!

We had a 08 6.4 standard xl with cd power everything and cloth seats with captins chairs. It was awsome.

I just looked at an 09 the other day, It was basically an XLT with rubber floors, nice headlights and everything, said XL on the fender

Mine is an XL with power windows/locks/mirrors heated mirrors, carpet, cd/mp3 player, factory aux port for cd player, electric 4x4, 40/20/40 front bench with console, chrome bumpers and nice head lights, factory trailer brakes. What I like most is the vinyl seat, it's pretty comfy for probably the lowest quality seat they put in these trucks, and it cleans up amazing lol, I get in there with nasty cloths on and it cleans up like brand new!

To sum it up it is just the exterior/interior options. You will have the same quality drivetrain as a king ranch or lariat, etc. About the only drivetrain options you can change is axle ratios and rear limited slip. Maybe additional sway bar or something along them lines but that's it.
