Factory trailer brake controller issues

I'm really debating putting an aftermarket one on. I just don't want to see it which shouldn't be hard to do. I need to research it more.

So. My next question is what can be plug and play for aftermarket.

I haven't had any trouble with my 2009?? I would like to be able to adjust its output though. My trailer could use more voltage a bit quicker then it puts out. Like ramp up quicker.

Wouldnt any of them? I dont know shti but is the factory one just plugged into the chassis harness like it was on 07 and older?

Maybe Im misunderstanding your questions intent but wont it work plugged into a 6.7 just like any other truck?
