I am installing a long block in a customers truck and cannot get this clutch off the old water pump. I have done everything just short of heating it up. If i heat this up to get it apart, should i install a new clutch on the new water pump? Yes i knew its left hand thread and yes I have the correct tools. Just unsure if the heat will damage the clutch or whether i should just make the customer spring for a new one while the engine is out, since this is the original clutch.
