Feels like misfire, maybe surge?

06 6.0 if I jump on it and the truck downshifts if sounds like it is missing real bad, but builds boost and mph. If I roll into the throttle slowly to the floor all is well. Only mods are straight 4 in exhaust, afe filter and welded up egr cooler . Any help is appreciated!

Does it start and idle smooth?

starts and idles fine, fine if i roll into the throttle. Just stumbles if I mat it . On cold days if i dont let it get up to temp bfore driving it will miss a little around 2k rpm. After up to temps no prob.

Check fuel pressure under WOT
