Few Questions

Alright well i've been getting some shaking between 40 and 50 mph, I figured it was u joints, so what u joints have you guys gone with and do you get the shaft aligned? Also I just replaced the front brakes last march,lately i've noticed when I come to a stop as the truck as almost at a stop I hear a clank and then after letting off the brake I hear a clank again as I accelerate, wasn't sure if that's brakes or maybe drive shaft? Thanks

Try shifting from D to R a few times with your foot on the brake to keep from moving, if you hear a clunk each time then U-joints are most likely the culprit.

Alright, thanks I did. For the 08 ext cabs. Are they the two piece or one piece rear shaft?

dont mean to be rude, but bend over slightly at the waist, and look.

when replacing u-joints, just do all of them in the shaft. its already out, and if ones bad, the rest usually aint to far behind.

Ha I know, wasn't anywhere near my truck for a few days with work. Im def going to get it all done at once

Yeah my rear ones went bad then 30k later my front ones went. Go with the stock ones, they are dana spicers.
