FICM voltage on 04 e450

Is the voltage supposed to be 48v? I'm only ready 38v with my scanner any help greatly apprechiated

Yes, should be 48v KOEO, starting, and running. It needs to be checked at the test screws under the top access cover when the engine is cold.

Yeah I prefer to test these with an actual multi-meter. Some of the scanners wont even read lower than 40V no matter what the FICM is at.
