As far as my CCV mod goes I did a little overkill on it. You can never be to safe.

CCV looks great and is worth the price as long as it works correctly. Did you do a catch can or just a line down frame rail? If no can, are you getting oil on frame?

No catch can. Both hoses run down to the frame rail just below the passenger seat and neither one drips oil. I can run my finger up in the hoses as far as I can and its dry as a bone. I just get the usual mist from the CC.

I do not. I'm thinking it will be similar or the same as what Erik is running but that is my assumption not Haller's words

Running a different or custom cai doesn't mean the battery is coming out. With my HP's and the intake I pieced together, the battery stayed and the minder was happy.

Thanks! I hate dirty vehicles.

No date yet. Aaron is going to drive it a while to make sure everything is 100%

That sucks. Guess I will be looking for a new CAI.

Is Shane still offering his? It was a pretty sweet setup.

Do you know if it will retain the battery in the stock location?

For highpowers ,This one does!

I'm just waiting on a custom hose to get this project done. For stock turbos/atmo turbos it will be a slam dunk , the only other changes will be some sort of custom air box and ram air. Both will prove to be difficult but can be done. Settlemire will be responsible for this cai as he has done most the leg work.

Did you ever dyno it or get times after the build?

Custom tunes from Gearhead made 788 14xx. Never made it to the track. Shortly after the dyno I found out I had a cracked block. So I parked it for a while and tried to decide what to do with it. I ended up going bigger instead of putting a match to it!

Where and how did the block crack? I am excited because your prior setup is pretty much what I will have here very soon. Numbers looked good and I bet it was a good puller as well.

We think it was from the studs. Front cover was checked less than 5000 miles ago.

The old setup was fun! Im hoping the new set up is just as good.
