I just hit 57,000 km and got my tranny flushed with filters. They found some small shavings on this pad, anything to be concerned about? I feel it's probably ok, just wondering if anyone else is seeing anything similar?

I'm not a transmission expert but do you pound the truck hard? Do you have a tuner any mods other than the stuff listed in your sig? Whats the trans temp run at? Usually metal shavings = bad but as I said I am no transmission expert. Somebody else more experienced will chime in soon.

Trans temp average around 185-190. Truck stays on street tune or tow tune on the mini maxx, truck has been deleted for 27,xxxk. I do not pound on the truck at all, I also have traction bars now.

As I said i'm no trans expert LOL. your trans temp seem normal as that's where my 6.7 runs at 180 - 190 give or take a few degrees.

I talked to a local trans expert, he told me not to worry about it, unless there was chunks. Was just looking for some reassurance from guys on here.

Just shavings, no actual chunks. I highly doubt it's from the extra power or abuse, as there is guys on here running a heck of a lot more power on there stock transmissions. I could be wrong though. My transmission has been fantastic, feels solid and strong.

Small shavings like that one time on first service not a big deal they usually have magnets to catch little bits that make ther way through. Filter doin it's job. Metal is never good but I wouldn't worry about it. I recommend dropping the pan only in another 10,000 and checking the element again
