Latest update on this saga:
Compression tests complete on 1,3,5,7 All are 425 to 450. Keep in mind this is a harbor freight gauge so may be less.
Removed Hydra chip (with batts unhooked)
Installed new (used) IDM
Swapped old Ford UVHC to pass side
Started truck - pass side still dead, no codes again.
Turned off truck: Test 1 unplug 5 & 7 , no fire on 1 & 3, Test 2 - Unplug 1 & 3 , no fire on 5 & 7
Ideas?
- Main harness bad
- PCM bad
- HPOP loosing pressure after start on passenger side (can test with gauge tomorrow)
- I am noticing a very long crank even right after truck is shutoff. Weirdly so for new injectors and seals.
- Truck is cursed and should be parted out.
- Statistically speaking these many things should not be wrong. It should be a core issue affecting everything.
Props to 6.0 Tech on compression not being the issue.
